In the silent and solitary late night,
Scattered windows in the buildings are still lit.
Insomniacs are standing in line,
Looking at each other in silence,
Waiting aimlessly with the pale moonlight under the night sky,
Impalpably alone.
Bent, anxiously in the darkness,
Face pale, muscles stiff, eyes bloodshot.
Dreadful wakefulness dispelled sleep.
I always feel that –
The night is hurting me,
Piercing my consciousness.
But, at this moment,
I still believe –
The sleepless nights are gentle.
It envelops me in darkness;
It shrouds my consciousness with stars.
Sleep, sleep -
I wish I could sleep peacefully like a kitten.
I hope that I could evaporate and dissipate into the air,
And blend into the tranquil breath of a dreaming cat.
There, it was tender and warm.
寂寥无声的深夜里，
楼房里还有零星的窗户亮着灯。
失眠者们排队肃立，相视无言，
在夜空下和苍白的月亮一起，
茫然又孤独地等待。
惶恐地弯曲在黑暗里，
脸色苍白，肌肉僵硬，双眼布满血丝。
可怕的意识驱散睡眠。
我总是感到——
夜晚在伤害我，
在刺痛我的意识。
但是 在这一刻，
我还是相信——
不眠的夜晚是温柔的。
它在以黑暗包裹我，
它在以星星笼罩着我的意识。
睡吧，睡吧，
希望我能像一只小猫一样安睡。
希望我能挥发消散，
潜入一只正在做梦的小猫的安稳的呼吸里。
那里，柔软又温暖。
