Chen a Taiwaness actress educated in California .plays the female lead.
陈来自台湾的女演员，曾在美国加州读书，在这部电影里出演女主角

C:In the story，the girl was chased by the male lead for 8 years.and then he did so much for her like he would accompany her to study every night and then a lot of times.they would talk on phone at night . it's very hard to imagine this kind of love story in real life .在故事中，这个女孩被男孩追求了八年男孩为她做了很多，比如每晚陪女孩自习，在很长的一段时间，在晚上他们都是用电话来联系，很难想象，这个爱情故事是发生在现实生活中的。

R:Isn't it way different from the typical Taiwaness story that you might see it in a film?这部电影是不是不同于我们看到的那些比较典型的台湾电影？

C:Yes, it's very different. I think because it's a true story and i think that makes a very big difference cause the director he's the script writer and it's his own story so we get to hear him talking about what happened in the past a lot .
是的，很不同，我想主要是因为这改编自真实的故事，我认为这个爱情故事不同于以往的很大一部分原因是电影的导演也是编剧，而且这又是改编自他自己的故事，所以在拍摄过程中，我们经常听到导演提及很多过去发生的事情

R:Music plays a role in this in this picture . it's not by means of musical but the score is very present and there are songs .Chen herself wrote and sang a song called Childish for the film .
这部电影中音乐发挥着作用，这并不意味着它是一部音乐剧，但乐谱写的很现代，在这些歌曲里，陈亲自为这部电影创作并演唱了一首歌曲（孩子气）

C:The melody kind of just naturally came to me and I want to become a singer and that dream never actually came true for me But I became an actress . I don't complaint about it cause I love acting But I wrote the song and then I let the director hear it and he likes it.and he actually put the song into the movie and the song became pretty popular because this movie became very popular and now people know that actually I can sing and I can write songs.
这歌的旋律很自然的在脑海里响起，而且我一直想成为歌手，但对我而言，这个梦想还未实现，我成了演员，我这不是埋怨，因为我也很喜欢演戏，但是我当时我写了这首歌给导演看，他也很喜欢，然后真的就把歌放到了电影里，这首歌也因为电影成功而走红，现在人们也知道，我能唱歌也能写歌

R:For whatever reason, you are the apple of my eye struck a note with the young audiences in several different countries.
无论什么原因“那些年”都在许多不同国家，对年轻观众造成不同凡响。

C:oh,we did really good box office in Singapore,in Malaysia and in China,especially in Hongkong like we are historically No.1 box office for Chinese movies in Hong Kong and that was for us very very surprising like we all feel very very blessed that it happened. It very unexpected . It's like.... It's beyond our imagination.
我们取得了非常不错的票房成绩，在新加坡，在马来西亚，还有中国，特别是在香港，好像当时我们是香港历史上票房最高的华语电影，我们真的很惊讶于这样的成绩，就好像，我们感觉是很大的福分，非常不可思议，就好像，完 全超出想象。
