o Baby Boomers (1945 - 1965)
o Generation X (1965 – 1980)
o Generation Y/Millennials (1980– 2000)
o Generation Z (around 2000)

o Baby boomers fought against theculture and society of their parents who lived during the World War
o Baby boomers have benefittedfrom low property prices, pensions
o Start of the welfare system
o Dawn of consumerism
· Right to buy council houses –increasing divide between people under 35 (34%) and over 65 (77%)
· Predicted that Millennials inthe UK will be not as rich as their parents
· The main complaints ofMillennials are expensive housing, job insecurity, student debt and low pension
o Zero-hour jobs/gig economy
o Bank of Mum and Dad
· Living online (Instagram,Twitter etc.)
