The root cause of all sufferings is here after all.
【Xian'er says so: “ take it easy】
Xian'er worked very hard at cleaning the toilet and won the "Golden Horse Awards” in the field of toilet cleaning.

He reported the good news to Shifu. However, Shifu critized him for it.
Xian'er could not figure out why his achievement brought criticism.

“Maybe I was wrong.”

Xian’er thought to himself and decided not to clean the toilet anymore.

It lasted for over half a year and the toilet got……
Shifu came down hard on Xian’er again.
Xian’er asked: “Shifu, why is it that I cannot make it right? Cleaning the toilet is not right. Not cleaning is not right either! ”
Shifu replied: " Xian'er, it’s time that you do some reading and thinking. ”
Xian'er suddenly got it.

He has since learned to keep an ordinary mind.
And everything goes well.

We seek others’ approval of our actions,  
for we are fundamentally self-centered.  
This is the root cause of all sufferings.  
Life would be so much easier if we stop comparing and discriminating.

痛苦的根源原来在这里

【贤二如是说：平常心做事 】

贤二把马桶刷的锃亮锃亮的，
赢得了马桶界金马奖，
向师父汇报成绩和荣誉，
结果被师父批评了。
贤二想不明白，心想，事情做的这么棒，
为什么还要挨批评，那看来我搞错了。
于是贤二大半年没刷马桶，结果马桶......
师父又狠狠地批了贤二。
贤二问：“师父，为什么马桶刷的干净也不对，
不刷干净也不对呢？”
师父说：“你该好好看看书了。”
贤二恍然大悟，
以后就学会用平常心做事情了。
大家相安无事。

我们的作为需要得到别人的肯定，
实际上还是以自我为中心，
一切痛苦都来源于此。
如果我们不去比较、分别，
一切都简单了。
