Often what we see are others’ problems.
Xian'er says so: It is much easier to laugh at others than to reflect upon self.
Wang Xiaowu ran into Xian’er and said:
You Buddhists practice being honest with your heart, right?
Xian’er said yes.
Wang Xiaowu said, I am going to be honest today.
Xian’er, you are greedy when it comes to food and you are often envious of Xianyi. 

Shifu does not take you abroad and you are bitter about it.

And Shifu took your cellphone away, which you are not happy about, right?
Xian’er said, all right.
Wang Xiaowu said: you are too sensitive and narrow minded.

Once in a while I joke with you, but you have been thinking about beating me all day long. Am I right?
Xian’er said, that is right.
Wang Xiaowu said, you see I was right.
Why do you stare at me like that?

I did not say anything wrong.

I was just being honest.
Xian’er asked Xiaowu to look down below.
Wang Xiaowu said: Below are my feet. What is it?
Xian’er said: Read on.

it is much easier to laugh at other than to reflect upon self.
It is not easy to see one’s own problem.
Rather we often see problems with others.

往往看到的都是别人的问题
贤二如是说：笑人易，自省难
王小五碰到贤二，对贤二说，
你们佛门是不是讲直心。
贤二说，是啊。
王小五说，那我今天就直心一回，
你这个人贪吃，还经常嫉妒贤一，
你师父不带你出国，你就耿耿于怀，
你师父没收你手机，你也整天酸溜溜的，
对不对？
贤二说，对。
王小五说，你这个人心眼太小，
我就是偶尔跟你开开玩笑，
你就天天心里憋着想揍我。对不对？
贤二说，对。
王小五说，我说的没错吧......
你干嘛这样看着我？我又没说是什么，
不过就是直心吗......
贤二说，往下看。
王小五说，下面就是我的脚啊。怎么了？
贤二说，往屏幕下面看。
