阿加莎长篇小说《无人生还》
这部小说讲述了八个素不相识的人受神秘的欧文夫妇的邀请来到一个海岛上后发生的故事。
他们抵达后，接待他们的只有管家夫妇俩。用晚餐时，留声机忽然响起，指控他们宾客以及管家夫妇这十人都曾犯有谋杀罪。众人正在惶恐之际，来宾之一忽然死亡，噩梦由此开始了，这十人按儿歌里述说的方式一一死去。而每死一个人，餐桌上的瓷像就会少掉一个。

2015年，为纪念阿加莎125周年诞辰推出了这部改编自小说的3集迷你剧And then there were none,而这也是第一个采取原著结局的英语国家影视改编版本。大家是不是已经开始好奇这个岛上究竟发生了怎样诡异又离奇的故事了呢？快去剧中一探究竟吧！

bill作为名词时，大家熟知的意思有“账单”、“纸币”，但在实际运用中bill还有“议案，法案”、“节目单”、“海报；招贴”等意思
在剧中用了一个词组fit the bill表示“符号要求，合格”的意思
这里再给大家介绍另一个用法top the bill

A major fire has engulfed the medieval cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris,one of France’s most famous landmarks.It took 15 hours for 400 French fire fighters to put out the fire.The 850-year-old Gothic building’s spire and roof have collapsed but the main structure,including the two bell towers, has been saved.

The Crown of Thorns,one of the cathedral’s treasures,was also rescued.Officials said the world famous 18th century organ that has 8000 pipes also appeared to be have survived.But no one can tell whether it has been damaged by water or will need to be restored.There is also little information on the condition of the cathedral’s stained-glass windows and its many paintings.
