Report on an Advertising Campaign
Introduction
Our company, Tech-design Ltd, was running an advertising campaign in summer 2019 in cooperation with advertising agency, ATN .Ltd. The aim of this report is to evaluate how successfully the campaign was carried out and also to assess main points, which need to be taken into accounts when organizing summer 2019 campaign.
Content of the Campaign
In the campaign three different approaches were used:
Firstly, the current accounts of Tech-design were informed by sending them an email or a paper-letter including a catalogue, presenting all the latest products. In addition, the prospective customers and the general public were approached by the use of two mass media: TV and magazines.
Findings of the Campaign
One of the strengths was that Tech-design was able to reach an audience of over 100,000 future customers by using different publicity methods. Plus research suggests Tech-design has built a reliable image to the public in the line of business.(优势)
However, the weakness of this campaign, according to the survey, was that the August launch date almost clashed with other competitors. Therefore, it is not certain that Tech-design will be able to enlarge its market share in the highly competitive marketing.（劣势）
Recommendations
When starting to prepare the summer 2019 campaign. It is suggested that Tech-design take more visible and aggressive measures that before, such as market research taken 3-4 months ahead.
