Actually the answer is very simple, a polar bear have to swim a long way to eat a penguin because they live at opposite ends of the earth. Polar bears live in the north of equator, and penguins are found only south of the equator.

Actic is really cold that most of the liquid will freeze very soon. So why don't penguins' eggs freeze? An penguins' egg would freeze in minutes if it were left on the ice, so the penguins balance their eggs on the feet and keep them warm inside a brood pouch. Kangaroos also have brood pouch.
