Jack thought very quickly and hid. From his hiding place, he could not believe what he saw!!!
It was a giant!!!

Even though he was scared he knew he had to move quickly. He managed to find a small hole in the wall and escaped! He climbed down the beanstalk as quickly as possible.

The next day, he decided he would go in to have a better look. The giant didn’t spot him last time, so, maybe he was invisible.

He climbed and climbed and climbed until he reached the top. Gazing at the enormous Castle, he took a deep breath then snuck back into the castle once more. “Hmmmm, I wonder what I will find this time!"

He had defeated the Giant: Jack and his father lived out the rest of their days and had plenty of money after that. Selling each golden egg that the hen laid and become quite wealthy!
