Following the disgracefulevents of the last week, with folks defacingnational monuments, including Churchill and Queen Victoria, and offending thememory of hero PC Keith Palmer, what will the Prime Minister do to uphold British values and carry out the rule of law?
I am grateful to my hon. Friend. I can tellher and the House that any incident of vandalismor attack on public property will be met with the full force of the law, and perpetrators will be prosecuted. I can also confirmthat we are looking at new ways in which we may legislateagainst vandalism of war memorials.
