Describean event you experiencedwhere you didn’t like the music
You should say:
What the event was
Where you were
What the music was like
And explain why you did not enjoy the music
I would like to share with you an event I experienced where I didn’t really enjoy the music. It was in sophomore year in college when I went to the UK as an exchange student for a term.
While I was there, I got on really well with (相处融洽、关系好) my flatmates. After the final examination that semester, my flatmates decided that they wanted tolet their hair down(尽情放纵)and go to a night club in town to celebrate. It was the first time that I experienced something like that so I was a bit hesitant. Given the fact that I wasspared of(免去) the troubles of exams, I told myself I would lose nothing by trying new things.
However, when everyone entered the night club and started dancing and grabbing drinks, I found it hard toassimilate into the surrounding environment(融入环境). Contrary to what I expected, the music they played seemed to be heavy metal with exceedingly strong beats at a horrible volume. I tried to stay for half an hour or so but I really struggled and I just couldn’t put up with(忍受) the noise and atmosphere. As a result, I left and went straight home, and the minute I got back my ears were still buzzing. Perhaps it was because I had never been to a night club before and the music was so different to what I had grown up with. Or perhaps it was the annoying beats and volume that turned me away. All in all, I found the music they played very unpleasant.
