I've been picturing the perfect house in my head for a very long time. I think I'Il build my own house one day when I decide to settle down. I'm a big fan of the British TV programme Grand Designs. I've watched every single episode of it. It has given me a lot of ideas and inspiration for the house I want to build for myself in the future.

I want to build a country house outside of London one day. The theme of the house will be a combination of both traditional Chinese architecture and contemporary design. I like simple designs with a touch of detail. I think Hui-style architecture really fits the bill, with its black and white colour and clean lines. The inside of the house has to be equipped with modern minimalist style furniture and appliances. There will be an open-plan kitchen that connects directly to the lounge. And of course, there has to be a garden. Again it'll be something simple and tasteful. I'll hire a professional landscaper to design it properly.

I've noted down many other details for the ideal house I want to build in the future. Hopefully, I'll have the chance to turn them into reality one day. Anyway, it's good to have something nice to look forward to in life, wouldn't you agree?
