How to keep the initial aspiration

【Xian’er says so: “the highest state of cleaning toilet is... ”】

Xian’er heard that the highest state of cleaning the toilet is
that the water becomes drinkable.
Xian’er thought to himself that he could do it.
Then he told Wang Xiaowu,
That he would make tea for him using toilet water.
Not to worry, Xian’er has got it.
Wang Xiaowu was very touched.
Xianyi told Wang Xiaowu not to listen to Xian’er,
and never to drink toilet water.
Wang Xiaowu wondered why.
Xianyi said: “Because Xian’er is like many others who are highly enthusiastic in the beginning but could not last.

Later they will lose their aspiration.”

It is aspiration that determines the beginning and ending of an endeavor;
it is wisdom that determines whether the endeavor is a success or a failure.
Perseverance and wisdom are equally important;
with both one becomes invincible.

【贤二如是说:刷马桶的最高境界

贤二听说刷马桶的最高境界,
竟然是马桶里的水可以喝。
贤二想,这个我也应该可以做到,
于是就跟王小五说,
你放心,我一定能做到,
以后就用马桶水给你泡茶,
王小五就非常感动。
贤一告诉王小五别听贤二的,
千万不要喝马桶里的水。
王小五问为什么?
贤一说:"因为贤二跟很多人一样,
刚开始很热心,慢慢就坚持不下来,
然后就会退心。"
