Hello, everyone, this is Sara. Welcome to Ted Notes, made by 爱学英语ILearn English.
In the afterlife[1],you relive all your experiences. But this time, with the events reshuffled[2] into the new order, all the moments that sharethe equality are grouped together.
You sleep for 30 years without opening your eyes. For 5 monthsstraight, you flip through[3] magazineswhile sitting on the toilet. You take your pain at once, all 27 and tenth hours[4] of it, bones break, cars crash[5], babies are born. Once you make it through[6], it is free for the rest of your afterlife. But that doesn’t mean it’s always pleasant.
You spend 15 months to look for lost items[7], 18 months waiting a line, 14 minutes experiencepure joy, 15 hours signature[8], 6 monthswatching commercials[9], 3 years swallowing[10] foods, 4 minutes wondering what your lifewould be like if you reshuffled the order of the events, and this might beafterlife.
