How old is theyoungest billionaire (亿万富翁) in the world? Late last year, Forbes named 25-year-oldAustin Russell the world’s youngest billionaire. He has made 2.4 billiondollars (15.6 billion yuan).

At 17, Russell set up a company called LuminarTechnologies. The company makes sensors (传感器) that helpself-driving cars “see” things around them. The sensors use laser radar (激光雷达), or “lidar”, to “see” how far things are from each other.Big car companies buy sensors from his company. 
Russell impressed (使……印象深刻) adults with his smarts when he was a child. At the age of2, he learned the periodic table (元素周期表). At 13, hemade a machine that reuses underground water.
