Slowing down isn’tjust about the movement of the body, though, it’s also about the movement ofthe mind. Even when you’re relaxing on your sofa, if your mind isn’t at rest,nor are you. To rest mentally you need to stay focused in the moment. Stop replayingevents from the past or thinking about how things might be in the future.Acknowledge where you are right now and what is happening. Take a break. Slowdown. Pause.
