OK, I love cafés. I want to talk about my favourite café in Paris. As you know, there are many nice and trendy coffee shops in Paris. I went on the website of Time Out and noted down a list of cafés that seemed to my taste. I visited all of them and my favourite is without a doubt Coutume café. It's located in the 7th arrondissement, not too far away from the department store Le Bon Marché. It was named the best café in Paris by Le Figaro in 2013.

I went there a lot while I was living in Paris. It's one of my favourite spots in the city. I love everything about this café. The design, the staff, the food, and of course the coffee. The coffee there is exceedingly good. The baristas all have years of experience and are experts in what they do. And plus, the food is amazing as well. They do brunch every day and their menu changes every now and then. I don't remember ever being disappointed with the food. I especially like the industrial décor of the place. It's got a chemistry lab theme, with its simple design and clean colours. Even water is served in laboratory flasks. On top of everything I just mentioned, the staff is very professional and friendly as well, which just makes the place perfect.

I grew attached to this café because I frequented it a lot when l was living in Paris. It kind of witnessed my time there. Speaking of which, now that I'm in Beijing, I need to find a place like that, so if you know any good cafés in the city, let me know!
