Beth had a wobbly tooth.

Beth有一颗松动的牙齿

It had wobbled and wobbled for weeks.

这颗牙齿已经松动了好几个星期了

One day, Beth bit into a big red apple.

一天，Beth在一个又大又红的苹果上咬了一下

Her wobbly tooth came out.

她松动的牙齿掉出来了

“Wow!” said Beth.

“哇”Beth说

“Now the tooth fairy will come,

“现在牙仙子要出来了，

and I will get a coin.”

我要得到一枚硬币。”

At bedtime, Beth put the tooth under her pillow and went to sleep.

睡觉时间到了，Beth把牙齿放到枕头底下然后睡觉去了

The next morning, Beth looked under her pillow.

第二天，Beth看了下枕头底下

The tooth was gone and in its place,

牙齿没有了，在它的那个位置，

there was a shiny coin.

有一枚闪亮的金币

“I’ve got a coin!” said Beth.

“我有一枚金币了”Beth说

“The tooth fairy gave me a coin!”

“牙仙子给了我一枚金币”

“I want a coin, too,” said Tim.

“我也想要一枚金币”Tim说

“Your teeth aren’t wobbly yet,” said Mum.

“你的牙齿还没松动呢”妈妈说

All day, Tim pushed and pulled his teeth,

Tim一整天都在拉啊、拽啊他的牙齿

but not one tooth was wobbly.

但是没有一颗牙齿松动

Tim had an idea.

Tim有了一个主意

He got out his modelling clay and made a toy tooth.

他拿出了自己的制模黏土，做了一颗玩具牙齿

“I’ll put this under my pillow,” he said.

“我会把它放到我的枕头下”他说

“Then the tooth fairy will come and give me a coin.”

“然后牙仙子就会过来，给我一个金币”

“The tooth fairy only takes real teeth,” said Beth.

“牙仙子只拿走真正的牙齿”Beth说

“She won’t give you a coin for a toy tooth.”

“她不会因为一颗玩具牙齿而给你一枚金币的”

“Yes, she will,” said Tim.

“好的，她会”Tim说

At bedtime, Tim put the toy tooth under his pillow.

睡觉时间到了，Tim把牙齿放到了他的枕头底下

He went to sleep and dreamed about the tooth fairy.

他睡着了然后梦到了牙仙子

Beth couldn’t sleep.

Beth睡不着了

She knew the tooth fairy wouldn’t come

她知道牙仙子不会来

and Tim would be upset in the morning.

Tim早上会不安的

Beth went downstairs to see Mum.

Beth下楼去看妈妈

She told Mum about the toy tooth.

她告诉妈妈玩具牙齿的事情

“The tooth fairy won’t come, will she, Mum?” said Beth.

“牙仙子不回来了，是不是妈妈？”Beth说

“Let’s wait and see,” said Mum.

“让我们等着看吧”妈妈说

The next morning, Tim jumped on Beth’s bed.

第二天早上，Tim跳到Beth的床上

“Beth! Look! I got a coin!

“Beth！看！我得到了一枚金币！

The tooth fairy did come!” he said.

牙仙子真的来了！”他说

“Let me see,” said Beth.

“让我看看”Beth说

Beth looked at the coin.

Beth看了看金币

It wasn’t a real coin,

它不是一枚真的硬币

it was a toy coin,

它是一枚玩具硬币

but she didn’t tell Tim that.

但是她没有告诉Tim那些

Tim ran to Mum.

Tim跑到妈妈那

“Mum! Mum! I got a coin from the tooth fairy,” he said.

“妈妈！妈妈！我从牙仙子那得到了一枚金币”他说

“I want to go to the shop now.”

“我现在想去买东西喽”

“You can’t go to the shop with that coin,” said Mum.

“你用那枚金币可不能买东西”妈妈说

“You see, it’s a toy coin.

你看，这是一枚玩具金币

You gave the tooth fairy a toy tooth,

你给了牙仙子一个玩具牙齿

so she gave you a toy coin.”

所以她给了你一枚玩具金币

Tim looked sad.

Tim看起来很难过

Then Beth had an idea.

然后Beth有了一个主意

“You can come to my shop,” she said.

“你能来我的商店买东西”她说

“What would you like to buy?”

“你想买什么东西呢？”

“I’d like a big red apple, please,” said Tim.

“我想要一个买一个大红苹果”Tim说

“To make my real tooth come out.”

“这样就可以让我的真牙齿掉下来啦”
