上期提到了一个短语:a wad of hair。
A wad of chewing gum
A wad of paper
I don’t like cats.
Bob
Fiona is growing on you.
Bob: Rosy,Fiona is really growing on mom.
Rosy: What does“growing on mom” mean?
Bob: At first your Mom didn't like cats but now she pets Fiona all the time. She says good morning to her every morning and she says good night to her every night. Fiona has converted your mother into a cat lover.
Convert
In the beginning I didn’t like cooking, but it grows on me in time.
In the beginning I didn’t like Bob, but he grows on me in time.
