Today I am very gratified. At this solemn and lively wedding ceremony, as their parents, we would like to speak three sentences to the two children.
First, marriage is not one plus one equals two, but nought point five plus nought point five is equal to one. In the future, you two should get rid of half of your personality, be prepared for compromises and concessions, and conceal your own edge to tolerate each other's edge, and you should be people useful to the country and responsible for the family.
Second, love is not intimate relationship but tolerance. We hope you'll remember that marriage is not a possession, but the integration and, like an alliance, you should respect each other and keep the ordinary person's state of mind. Do the thing you should do. You may love changes, but you must have big hearts. Try your best to let family harmony flow smoothly.
Third, the home is not a place for quarrels, still less for settling accounts, the home is a place of love. The best love is to love your loved one unconditionally rather than make demands on others. There is no perfect couple at the beginning. The love needs “it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things”. In the later years, you should create, cultivate, mill, construct, maintain and improve your marriage.
Today, I'm very grateful to Eros for coming. She is star in the sky, she is in the rivers on the earth, and she is also in this hall. I pray for her to take care of the two children forever! I would like to thank the friends and relatives from all walks of life who have come from far and wide for coming here today. You are my most respected and remembered people.
