The Queen has given her formal consent to the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

英国女王正式同意哈里王子和梅根·马克尔成婚。

In a letter to the Privy Council, the monarch expressed her approval of the upcoming wedding. 

在写给枢密院的信中，女王表示批准两人即将到来的婚礼。

It read: "We have consented and do by these presents signify our consent to the contracting of matrimony between our most dearly beloved grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales, K.C.V.O., and Rachel Meghan Markle,which Consent her Majesty has caused to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council." 

信中写道："我同意我最爱的孙子亨利查尔斯·阿尔伯特·大卫威尔士王子与蕾切尔·梅根·马克尔的婚姻，我将用国玺盖章，此后该文件将载入枢密院卷宗。"

The first six people in the line of succession must have the Queen's consent before they can marry, as set out by the Succession to the Crown Act 2013. Prince Harry is now the sixth-in-line to the throne.

A private zoo in Canada is facing charges after taking a bear through a Dairy Queen drive-thru.

加拿大一家私营动物园因带一头熊去冰雪皇后冷饮店吃冰激凌而面临起诉。

Video shows one-year-old bear Berkley being hand-fed an ice cream through the window of the Calgary Dairy Queen earlier this year. 

视频显示，今年早些时候，一头名叫伯克利的一岁小熊在卡尔加里一家冰雪皇后冷饮店的窗户前被喂食冰激凌。

The remarkably well behaved animal, which is sitting in the passenger seat of the car, patiently waits for the employee to offer the cone as he took gentle bites of the treat.

The footage was posted by Discovery Wildlife Park, but was later removed after it sparked an angry backlash.

Authorities in Canada say the zoo broke the law by failing to inform them when an animal was taken off site.

Aussie blood donor retires

81-year-old Australian blood donor, James Harrison, has retired after saving the lives of more than 2.4 million babies by donating his blood over the past 60 years. 

81岁澳大利亚献血者詹姆森·哈里森从捐血"岗位"退休了。在过去的60年里，哈里森献血拯救了240多万名婴儿。

Harrison's blood contains an extremely rare antibody in his plasma that is used to develop medicine to prevent newborns from dying from Rhesus disease. 

哈里森的血浆中含有一种极为稀有的抗体，这种抗体可用于制造预防新生儿溶血症的药物。

The medicine, anti-D, is given to pregnant mothers whose rhesus negative blood is at risk of attacking her baby's rhesus positive blood. Now passing the age-limit in Australia to continue giving blood, Harrison has made his 1,173rd and final donation. 

这种名为anti-D的药物适用于自身血型为RhD阴性、与腹中胎儿RhD阳性血型相斥的孕妇。由于已超过澳大利亚捐献血浆的法定年龄，哈里森进行了他的第1173次，也是最后一次献血。

He holds the Guinness World Record for the number of donations made, and the Australian Red Cross Blood Service said: "His kindness leaves a remarkable legacy."

Woman builds houseboat

An advertising executive who struggled to get on the property ladder is now living in her dream home after building a houseboat. Karen Boswell, 35, designed the ￡182,000, 21 meters long vessel, called Maybe Tomorrow, which took four months to create from scratch. 

一位为拥有属于自己的房产而苦苦挣扎的广告经理建造了一艘船屋，如今她住上了自己梦寐以求的"房子"。35岁的凯伦·博斯韦尔历时4个月设计并装修了一艘名为"也许明天"的船，该船价值18.2万英镑、长约21米。

Boswell said despite earning a six figure salary in her job, she couldn't afford her own home even though she saved for years for a deposit.

Her friend then gave her the idea of living in a houseboat, and she realized she could create her very own home for a fraction of the budget.

The boat, which includes a king sized bed, a bathroom with a double shower, concrete kitchen counter-tops and full height ceilings, is moored in a private marina in the Grand Union Canal, in north west London.

And because she has designed the boat with such a high spec, it is already worth ￡30,000 more than she paid for.
