The First Jewish Exile to Babylon

犹太人第一次被放逐，地点是巴比伦

Finallyaround 600 BC the Curses happened. Nebuchadnezzar, a powerful Babylonian Kingcame – just like Moses had predicted 900 years before when in Torah he wrote:

终于，在公元前600年，诅咒应验了。Nebuchadnezzar， 一位强大的巴比伦国王掌握了权力。就像900年前摩西曾经在《摩西五经》也就是Torah里预言的一样。

TheLord will bring a nation against you from far away…a fierce-looking nationwithout respect for the old or pity for the young…They will besiege all thecities throughout the land. (Deuteronomy 28: 49-52)

他说，上帝会从远方带一个民族来对付你们。。。一个凶狠的民族，对老人没有尊重，对小孩没有同情。。。他们会漫山遍野围了你们的城。

Nebuchadnezzarconquered Jerusalem, burned it, and destroyed the Temple that Solomon hadbuilt. He then exiled the Israelites to Babylon. This fulfilled the predictionsof Moses.

Nebuchadnezzar攻占了耶路撒冷，烧毁了它，然后摧毁了所罗门曾经修建的圣殿。然后他把以色列人驱逐到巴比伦。这就应验了摩西的预言。

Youwill be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess. Then the Lord willscatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other.(Deuteronomy 28:63-64)

Sofor 70 years, the period shown in red, the Israelites lived as exiles outsidethe land promised to Abraham and his descendants.

Return from Exile under the Persians

Afterthat, the Persian Emperor Cyrus conquered Babylon and Cyrus became the power ofthe world. He permitted the Jews to return to their land.

在那之后，波斯帝国的国王Cyrus打败了巴比伦王国，成为当时世界的统治者。他允许犹太人重返家园。

Howeverthey were no longer an independent country, they were now a province in thePersian Empire. This continued for 200 years and is in pink in the timeline.During this time the Jewish Temple (known as the 2ndTemple) and thecity of Jerusalem were rebuilt.

然而现在的以色列人不再是一个独立的民族了。他们现在是波斯帝国下面的一个省。这个状态持续了200年，图上由粉色显示，大概就是从公元前530年到公元前330年。当时中国应该是春秋中叶到战国早期。在这段时期，犹太人重新修建了圣殿，被成为第二圣殿，因为第一圣殿在公元前600年被巴比伦国王一把火给烧了。在这段时期耶路撒冷也得到重建。

The period of the Greeks

Alexanderthe Great conquered the Persian Empire and Jews had a province in the GreekEmpires for another 200 years. This is shown in dark blue. Later Greek rulerstried to force Greek worship upon the Jews, resulting in the Maccabean revolt,and semi-independence until the Romans came.

希腊国王亚历山大在公元前330年左右征服了波斯帝国，之后犹太人在希腊人统治下作为一个省，又存在了200多年直到公元前70年左右。在这段时期，希腊统治者曾经试图强迫犹太人信奉他们的多神教，引发了Maccabean暴乱，后来犹太人成为半独立省份，这个状态一直延续到罗马人的到来。
