Hello everyone, welcome to English Panorama! This is Rebecca, and I'm new to all of you. It is of great pleasure to see you for the very first time. 大家好呀，我是第一次跟大家见面的新人主播Rebecca，大家也可以叫我小顾。简单自我介绍一下呢，我最大的一个特点应该就是热爱美食。而作为一个十足的吃货呢，我今天的主题自然也是跟食物有关。前几天我看了一集美国的餐饮真人秀，地狱厨师Ramsay来到了一家因老板生活矛盾重重而经营不善的日本寿司店。The other day I saw an American reality show on food and beverage, the protagonist, known as "Hell Chef" Ramsay came to a Japanese sushi restaurant that was badly run because of the contradictions in the owner's life.

寿司店的日裔老板已经移居美国多年，光辉岁月已过，他的餐厅和跨国婚姻都每况愈下，多年来他的脸上几乎不再有笑容。It is a crisis for a middle-aged man.He looked a little weak, and his wife looked a little too mighty. Even when Ramsay criticized his mismanagement, his American wife's cynicism was beyond the reach of the chef.餐馆的失败和家庭危机互为因果，搅成一团的麻烦让那个瘦小的日本男人变成了一个彻底的LOSER。

于是，换冰箱、换气灶、换装修，节目组的措施出人意料地简单，只是从硬件上让餐馆彻底地焕然一新。The program operator replaced the decoration of the sushi restaurant, kitchen utensils and so on. Like "back to life ", the sushi restaurant began to have vitality.旧日的桎梏一扫而空，老板也被新氛围感染得兴奋不已，亲自掌厨操刀，更新鲜的食材换来了食客久违的"Yummy"， 重新顾客盈门也换来了他久违的笑容，连家庭危机都因此一扫而光。No one is judging what has changed so much about sushi, however, all viewers are more happier to see the family live happily ever after.

荧屏隔绝了香气与温度，食物在电视中，其实更像是一个特别的引子，汤芡勾得深浅并无太大区别，背后的故事才更容易拴住观众的心。Across the screen, people can not feel the temperature and taste of food. What really touches people is the story behind the food.日本电视连续剧《深夜食堂》就将“食物密码”作为卖点，推出了一档只有10集的温馨单元剧。Each episode has a main character, and every character in the story loves to eat a certain dish,.It seems that every food has an unique code which tracts people’s inner feelings.一粥一饭间的偏爱与选择，其中的曲折和隐情尽显无疑。独沽的那一味，是世间最深的牵念。People used to deliver some unspeakable emotions to strangers instead of close friends, as if in each other's completely different trajectory of life, we can see another possibility of life.小小的店面，放置在凌晨的小巷中，用一个罕见的时间煎炒烹炸，最后装盘盛出来的，其实是热气腾腾的人生百味。

This is an atypical Japanese TV series with no complicated plot and emotional disputes. Each seemingly unremarkable supporting role could lead in the next episode.跟印象中的日本其他主题类电影不同，那些类似于“晴空霹雳”式的慢速度夸张镜头，在这部电视剧中完全没有出现——Although adapted from comics, those foods from two-dimensional to three-dimensional also maintain moderate restraint.很少有烤肉吱吱流油的特写、也没有恨不得从屏幕上挖出一勺子让你闻闻香味儿的诱惑，All of the ingredients are gradually formed at a soothing rhythm under thechef.

看香肠渐渐卷曲成章鱼形状，滚烫的拉面边上需要小心摆上两片上好的海苔，从未解释过自己刀疤眼来历的老板掀开帘子，午夜歇脚的食客嗅嗅香味，“啪”地掰开筷子，微笑着点点头：“我开动啦！”

Time passes slowly. They stared out the window to the stars high above.午夜的新宿小巷中，时间在老挂钟上都变得缓慢，慢得似乎把人生都抻长，让貌似平凡的食客，把人生的异香在热气中缓缓散开。在夜色的掩护下，白日的浮躁与伪装渐渐褪去，老牌男演员在土豆沙拉前哭得像个孩子，而真正的孩子正在为拼出来的花生算盘惊奇不已。那个爱吃猫饭喜欢唱歌的女孩子再也不会来了，但是茶泡饭三剩女还在共同坚守，等待最真诚的爱情。

The protagonist in the film is not noticeable, also, the story behind these foods maybe is not stunning enough. But in this fast-paced era, this slow rhythm and story can most accurately evoke the most sincere and unforgettable memories in people's mind.

说起深夜，大家又有些什么样的关于食物的故事呢？是午夜时分跟朋友们在烧烤摊前划拳喝酒?还是一个人忙碌到深夜，然后默默起身给自己煮上一碗拉面?For me, the deepest memory should be every time when my father found me awake when he returned home late, nagging impatiently that I should rest early, meanwhile, went into the kitchen and cooked me a bowl of warm sweet dumplings.记忆中，父亲是一个不善言辞，不太懂儿女情长的人。即使是这种仿佛带上暖黄色滤镜的场景，父亲也不会像电视剧里那般和我对坐在桌前，跟我讲一些人生的大道理。他只是默默看着我吃完，然后起身收拾碗筷。The night before I left home to go to school, I wassleepless, and at 3 am I moved downstairs to the kitchen to cook myself a bowl of sweet dumplings. It was just ordinary dumplings that could be bought everywhere, but at that moment I thought I might never have a chance to eat them again.

其实到学校报道那天我跟我爸闹得挺不愉快的。但是他离开学校之后，又多给我转了一笔生活费，然后告诉我说" Remember to have dinner at nignt, however, no one will cook you midnight snack at school ." And ," remember, you're my pillar , wherever you are."I don't think it's just my dad who's not good at words, neither am I. Otherwise, I wouldn't write this kind of sensationalism in English.

People drink wine, eat their favorite food, unload a day of fatigue, talk about interesting things, or taste sorrow alone. No matter how unhappy life is, there are always warm lights and warm food, and strangers with the help of love.在食物的香气里，在深夜特有的幽静和食堂内的袅袅暖意间，一出出充满人情味的故事被娓娓道来。只是，深夜食堂毕竟不是哆啦A梦的口袋。人世间真正的故事，从来不能像童话故事一样简单而又幸福，不是能在夜晚开放的饭堂里吃几次饭，就能峰回路转。深夜食堂或许只存在于影视剧中深夜里街边的角落，让你在看过之后，流几滴感慨的眼泪，又继续辛苦地在人世间徘徊挣扎。

On a tiring night, hungry people who need food to soothe their hearts gather in the canteen which open from 12:00 a.m to 7:00 a.m next day. Just a short breath and a moment of relaxation. Getting a friendly consolation from strangers is enough.25分钟的故事之后，关机睡觉，黑暗中躺在床上，也许会想起记忆中的哪道餐点：是外婆手中一个个饱满的饺子，还是妈妈做的哪一道甜点？晚上吐得一塌糊涂的红油火锅和啤酒，又是谁匆匆的践行酒？在幻觉的香气中昏昏睡去，深夜悄悄离开，待醒来时，又是余下人生的新开始。
